Summary

Shuu is a humanoid dog who serves as one of Emperor Pilaf’s ninja cronies. He typically teams up with Mai to execute the plans of their short-tempered and vertically challenged leader. Although he ranks among the earliest antagonists in the Dragon Ball series, his incompetence makes him more of a source of comic relief than a genuine threat. In the original manga, he was initially called Soba, but the name was changed to align with the anime version after creator Akira Toriyama forgot his previous choice. The character later appears alongside Mai and Pilaf in two episodes of Dragon Ball GT.
