Summary

Hiroki Shinohara is a 24-year-old officer from Tochigi Prefecture who serves in the Yamato's tactical division as part of the flight group. Holding the rank of Ensign, or Third-grade Space Lieutenant, he operates as Kato's right-hand man and second in command. Although his long hair and frivolous appearance, speech, and actions might suggest otherwise, he is actually a reasonable and sensible young man.
