Summary
Haruichi Kominato is a first-year second baseman who stands out as a naturally gifted all-rounder despite his petite and frail appearance. He possesses pinpoint batting precision, capable of driving the ball with immense power and exact placement, while also demonstrating exceptional defensive skills, such as catching fly balls and throwing accurately while still airborne. His baseball intuition is remarkable, allowing him to make split-second decisions on where to hit, what to track, and when to steal bases. His raw talent reportedly surpasses that of his older brother, Ryousuke Kominato, a first-string second baseman, although Haruichi currently lacks stamina, which he is diligently working to improve. Originating from Kanagawa Prefecture, Haruichi is calm and quiet, frequently serving as the tsukkomi to Sawamura Eijun’s boke antics. He has a tendency to speak bluntly and often praises Furuya or Eijun, inadvertently sparking their rivalry. Currently serving as a reserve for the first-string team, he sometimes feels envious of his peers for having the opportunity to play in matches. His small stature leads others to note that he resembles a girl, and he is easily embarrassed, particularly when receiving compliments.
