Summary
Oono served as Karma Akabane’s instructor during his second year at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. Like much of the staff in the main building, he was overtly hostile and discriminatory toward Class 3-E, holding a contemptuous view of those he deemed inferior. His detestable nature was evident when he deliberately disrupted the students’ focus during their midterm exams. Deeply concerned with his public reputation, Oono initially favored Karma for his academic success but abandoned him once he believed the student was damaging his standing.
