Within the neglected confines of Kunugigaoka Middle School, a dilapidated building serves as the home for the outcasts and underachievers of Class 3-E. Isolated from their peers with bleak prospects ahead, their fortunes change when they are given the monumental task of eliminating the greatest threat to humanity—their new teacher. This tentacled entity, known as "Koro-sensei," who has already obliterated the moon, declares his intention to destroy Earth by the following March. The challenge of assassinating him is immense; Koro-sensei moves at speeds exceeding Mach 20 and is virtually immune to conventional weaponry. Despite this, he proves to be an exceptional educator, urging the students to excel academically while honing their skills as aspiring assassins, convinced they can eventually return to the main campus in victory. Nagisa Shiota and the rest of Class 3-E embark on a journey of trial and discovery, striving to uncover Koro-sensei's vulnerabilities before time expires and the future of the world hangs in the balance.

After returning from summer break, the students of Kunugigaoka Middle School's Class 3-E face fresh difficulties. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, they must craft increasingly intricate and imaginative schemes to take down their instructor, Koro-sensei, a brilliant, upbeat, and encouraging figure. Eliminating Koro-sensei is not their only worry. Gakuhou Asano, the school's rigid and merciless principal, aims to sabotage Class 3-E by transforming other students into aggressively competitive scholars. Tension rises as both traitors and hired killers vie for the reward on Koro-sensei's life. Nagisa Shiota, one of Class 3-E's most capable assassins, finds himself entangled in the turmoil. While striving to keep his grades up and avert the looming catastrophe, personal conflicts endanger his standing within the group. Together with his devoted classmates, he must face these hurdles head-on.
