Summary

Touko Aozaki is a highly skilled puppet maker who is secretly an exceptionally potent sorceress. She first appeared as the sister of Aozaki Aoko in the unpublished novel Mahoutsukai no Yoru, later featuring in Kara no Kyoukai. In the animated films of Kara no Kyoukai, she is voiced by Honda Takako, while Inoue Kikuko provided her voice for the drama CDs. In Kara no Kyoukai, Touko works as a doll maker and occasionally designs buildings. Alongside Kokutou Mikiya, she operates a detective agency known as Garan no Dou, which specializes exclusively in cases involving supernatural or abnormal phenomena. Although she does not share a particularly harmonious relationship with her sister, the reasons behind their estrangement remain unknown. Touko is a formidable Magus capable of reproducing body parts with such perfection that they are nearly indistinguishable from the originals. The glasses worn by Tohno Shiki were originally crafted by her; her sister Aoko later stole them and rendered them indestructible. As a doll maker, she received a Sealing Designation for creating a doll body that was an exact replica of her own. Touko possesses 20 Magic Circuits, a figure that surprised the Aozaki clan, whose lineage had seen a decline in such numbers. Because of her immense power, the Mage's Association assigned her the Orange color designation, which is adjacent to the three primary colors. She desired the Blue title, but it was already held by her sister Aoko.
