Representing the Suomen Tasavalta, or Republiken Finland, this cheerful nation from northern Europe is known as Tino Väinämöinen. He appears to be a twenty-year-old with a height of 170 cm, possessing pale blonde hair and eyes that are violet in the manga but shifted to brown in the anime adaptation, though earlier artwork depicted them as blue. Finland is portrayed as being completely invincible to cold weather and low temperatures. His national flower is the lily of the valley, and his birthday falls on December 6. In the past, Finland fled with Sweden from Denmark’s house. Initially, he was deathly afraid of Sweden, but he eventually realized that Sweden has a kind heart. The two share a dog named Hanatamago. Sweden, who has been confirmed as homosexual by creator Hidekaz Himaruya, refers to Finland as his wife, a claim Finland firmly denies.
