World’s Strongest Witch Locks Hanazawa & Naganawa Plus Oct. 7 Bow

The official site for Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita has locked a fresh cast pair and a concrete premiere window for the TV adaptation of Mochimaru Sakaki’s strategy-guide fantasy. Voice stars Kana Hanazawa and Maria Naganawa are stepping in as Aries, the cool-headed guild master of port town Aquas who loses her composure around cute adventurers, and Lulu, the free-spirited water-dragon princess whose mishaps double the chaos.

Alongside the casting drop, the production rolled out its second character introduction PV and new standing visuals spotlighting Aries and Lulu next to protagonist Rona Hermit (Azusa Tachibana). The teaser leans into the series’ comic tone—guild-master meltdowns, twin-princess squabbles, and Rona’s SSS-rank “Internet” skill that turns every dungeon into a walkthrough.

Broadcast plans are now official: the series bows Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with BS11 and TV Aichi following on October 8. Jouji Furuta directs at Bridge and Aisle, with series composition by Shouji Yonemura and character designs by Yuuki Morimoto. For fans of Sakaki’s Square Enix light novel and its ongoing manga, fall just got a lot louder.
