World’s Strongest Witch Adds Hanazawa & Naganawa, Locks Oct. 7 Start

Fall 2026 just got a little more star-powered. The official site for the TV adaptation of Mochimaru Sakaki’s light novel Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita (The World’s Strongest Witch: I’m Starting My Free Life in a World Where Only I Can See the Online Strategy Guide) has dropped a second character promo and locked two major voice additions ahead of premiere.

Kana Hanazawa steps in as Aries, while Maria Naganawa takes on Lulu. They join a cast already headlined by Azusa Tachibana as the series’ walkthrough-wielding witch, Rona Hermit—the girl whose SSS-rank “Internet” skill flips a harsh fantasy world into a cheat-code adventure. The new clip spotlights the trio and leans into the show’s breezy, strategy-guide comedy.

Broadcast dates are now locked: October 7 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with BS11 and TV Aichi following on October 8. Direction sits with Jouji Furuta (Shaman King 2021) at Bridge and Aisle, with series composition by Shouji Yonemura and character designs by Yuuki Morimoto.

Sakaki’s web novel launched on Shousetsuka ni Narou and Kakuyomu in May 2022 before Square Enix picked it up under SQEX Novel (art by riritto). A manga adaptation by Tamaki Toga continues in Getsumaga Kichi, and Yen Press is rolling out the English light novels. With the air date set and heavy-hitters in the booth, this isekai cheat-skill romp is ready to log on this fall.
