Vertex Force Names Main Cast, Drops First Full Promo Ahead of Oct. 3

The official site for Vertex Force just hit the throttle: on Friday the production dropped its first key visual, the full main promotional video, and the complete lead cast for the original TV anime, locking a firm premiere of October 3 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV.

Makoto Koichi steps in as junior-high student Akira Todo, while Kaede Hondo voices his older sister Haruka, who secretly carries the family’s inherited “Engine” power. Rounding out the announced roster are Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Northbrook, Megumi Han as Lala Zudenstein, and Rie Takahashi as Yoko Nishina—names that should turn heads across mecha and action fandoms.

Strike Witches and Vividred Operation director Kazuhiro Takamura is back in the captain’s seat at studio SMDE, also handling character design and series composition with Masashi Suzuki. Gorō Kuji serves as assistant director, and Nobuaki Nobusawa scores the show. The new art carries the tagline “The summer break to safeguard Earth begins,” teasing a sibling-driven SF battle where ordinary weakness collides with cosmic stakes.

With the main PV now live and the cast fully locked, fall 2026’s original mecha slate just got a lot louder—mark October 3 if you’re hunting for fresh mecha action with a sunny Okinawa edge.
