Tanya Reclaims Anime Corner Summer Crown After Week-Two Dip

War is hell—and apparently great for poll numbers. In Anime Corner’s third weekly Summer 2026 rankings, more than 4,000 fans put Saga of Tanya the Evil II back on top with 5.78% of the vote, after the long-awaited sequel had slipped to fourth the previous week.

Holding the silver medal was Though I Am an Inept Villainess (5.31%), while last week’s surprise champion Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia settled into third at 4.94%. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3, a consistent early-season podium presence, eased to fourth.

Just outside the podium, Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky climbed into fifth, with Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You, You and I Are Polar Opposites Season 2, Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3, and I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day still packed into the top ten. Fresh blood arrived at #10: The Ghost in the Shell cracked the leaderboard for the first time.

The race remains razor-thin at the summit—classic mid-cour chaos. Anime Corner is already collecting ballots for Week 4, so the Empire’s little major may need another decisive sortie to keep the crown.
