Tank Chair Locks October 4 Debut With Main Trailer, SiM OP & New Cast

Manabu Yashiro’s ultra-violent manga Tank Chair just got a hard air date. The TV anime will open on October 4, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX (with BS11, CBC, and MBS to follow), and the production has backed that lock with a main promotional video, a new key visual, theme-song artists, and fresh cast names.

At the center of the chaos is Nagi Taira (Kōki Uchiyama), an elite assassin left half-conscious after taking a bullet for his sister Shizuka (Minori Fujidera). Her radical “rehab” plan is simple and brutal: wheel him into fights so pure murderous intent can jolt him fully awake. Polygon Pictures—known for CG-heavy action like Knights of Sidonia—is animating the ride, with Tadahiro Yoshihira and Hiroaki Ando directing and scripting, Yūki Moriyama on character design, and Masaru Yokoyama scoring the score.

The new trailer previews reggae-punk band SiM’s opening theme “DALALA,” while Daoko handles the ending “SYNC.” Supporting additions include Yurina Amami as the tower-dwelling genius Dr. Radio and Gen Satō as Academy rival Uzu, joining previously announced voices Gakuto Kajiwara, Saori Hayami, Nobuyuki Hiyama, Hōchū Ōtsuka, and Tetsu Inada. Expect a dark, high-mobility fall premiere built around one very armed wheelchair.
