Talentless Nana Manga Ends Its 10-Year Serialization

After ten years of razor-sharp suspense, Talentless Nana has reached its conclusion. The 122nd chapter ran in the August issue of Square Enix's Shounen Gangan magazine, marking the end of a serialization that began in May 2016.
The story follows students with extraordinary abilities training on a remote island to battle existential threats called the Enemies of Humanity. Transfer student Nana Hiiragi's arrival upends the class with charm, hidden motives, and deadly stakes in a tale that blended school life, strategy, and constant misdirection across 14 collected volumes. The 15th and final volume arrives in September.
A 13-episode anime adaptation by Bridge aired in Fall 2020 and continues to stream on Crunchyroll with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages. The series earned a dedicated following for its unpredictable plotting and moral gray areas that challenged easy heroes and villains.
In the closing chapter, after key confrontations, the survivors find a quieter chapter back on the island where everything started. Fans online have shared appreciation for the milestone alongside varied takes on the ending, while voice actress Rumiko Okubo, who brought Nana Hiiragi to life, credited the role with profoundly shaping her own journey as a performer.
