Studio Deen Announces Isekai Tensei Soudouki Staff, First Promo for January 2027

Studio Deen just put a date on one of AlphaPolis's longer-running isekai novels. Isekai Tensei Soudouki — Multi-Mind Mayhem to English readers — will premiere in January 2027, and the official site marked the occasion with a first key visual, a first promo, and the full production roster.

Hiroaki Sakurai is directing at Deen, with Keiichiro Ochi on series composition, Zenjiro Ukulele designing characters from Hajime Watanabe's animation originals, and Ryoshi Takagi on the score. Sakurai's note from the staff drop is almost as revealing as the credits: author Ryousen Takami showed up to their first meeting with a birthday cake, and the director says he is stuffing the adaptation with the parts of the novels that made him laugh.

The story's gimmick is a crowded skull. Mauricia noble heir Bard already has a life, then finds himself sharing it with stingy Sengoku retainer Sanai Oka and kemonomimi-obsessed modern student Masaharu Oka. Yusuke Kobayashi remains Bard. The new voices are Takashi Matsuyama as Sanai, Satoshi Inomata as Masaharu, Yukari Anzai as attendant Seilune, Ayasa Ito as merchant Selina, and Sumire Morohoshi as knight-school noble Silke. Inomata says sessions are already underway and leaning hard into comedy.

Takami first posted the tale on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2013. AlphaPolis published fourteen novel volumes with art by Ririnra through 2019, Honoji's manga has reached volume 14, and the series has passed 1.37 million copies in print and digital.
