SILVER LINK. Taps Yuki Kajiura for Re:bel Robotica Anime

SILVER LINK. has been chosen to produce the television anime adaptation of illustrator Mika Pikazo's Re:bel Robotica mixed-media project, with the teaser visual and promotional video released alongside a major staff announcement on July 5.
General director Shin Ōnuma and director Kōki Onoue will lead the project, joined by series composer Ryō Yoshigami and character designer Kazuyuki Yamayoshi. Adding significant weight to the production, acclaimed composer Yuki Kajiura — responsible for landmark scores in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Demon Slayer, and Sword Art Online — is creating the theme and insert songs.
The story is set in 2050 Shibuya, a city transformed by mixed reality technology that promises comfort and happiness to all. At its center stands the enigmatic girl Lily, whose arrival promises to shake that carefully constructed world, alongside the Robotica — humanoid machines built to serve humanity.
Pikazo first shared the concept as a doujin work years ago before it expanded through novels and other media. The teaser visual captures a striking dawn scene at the famous Shibuya scramble crossing, signaling the project's distinctive visual style and thematic focus on technology, emotion, and change.
