Sakamoto Days Tops 18 Million as Shueisha Ships Volume 28

Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump juggernaut Sakamoto Days just leveled up its sales scoreboard. The official manga account confirmed on Tuesday that Yuuto Suzuki’s action-comedy has surpassed 18 million copies in circulation worldwide, counting print and digital together.
The milestone landed the same day Shueisha put Volume 28 on Japanese shelves. The new collection keeps the “final battle” heat high—ORDER clashing with a rising killer syndicate—while spotlighting Amane Yotsumura, son of former Order operative Satoru, on the cover.
Suzuki first tested the concept as a Jump Giga one-shot in late 2019 before the series launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in November 2020. After years of steady climbs (including past the 15-million mark by August 2025), the franchise’s Netflix-backed anime and ongoing climax arc have kept new readers flooding in. Viz Media and MANGA Plus handle English digital chapters.
With the manga already flagged as heading into its climax and Season 2 of the TV anime locked for January 2027, Shueisha’s retired-assassin saga is still throwing punches at peak commercial form.
