Re:ZERO Season 4 Drops Recapture Arc Trailer Ahead of Aug. 12 Return

One week out from its return, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- has dropped a fresh trailer for Season 4’s second cour—The Recapture Arc—set to resume on August 12. After the bruising 11-episode Loss Arc that opened April 8, the new promo steers Subaru and company toward the next, harder climb.

The spot flashes confrontations with the Gluttony Sin Archbishops and samples “Ender Ember” by MYTH & ROID feat. TK from Ling Tosite Sigure, locking the arc’s tone between desperate strategy and full-throttle dread. Story-wise, the cour picks up in the wreckage of Priestella: Rem still locked in an endless sleep, Crusch’s memories and Julius’s very name swallowed by Gluttony’s Authority, and Subaru gambling everything on the all-seeing sage Shaula at the Pleiades Watchtower beyond the Auguria Dunes.

White Fox continues production under director Masahiro Shinohara, with series composition by Masahiro Yokotani and character designs overseen by Haruka Segawa. The full Season 4 run spans 19 episodes—11 for the Loss Arc, eight for Recapture—and Crunchyroll is carrying the series as it airs. For fans still reeling from what the first cour took away, the message in the new PV is blunt: the reclaiming starts now.
