Ossan Kensei II Casts Kensho Ono, Sumire Uesaka as Flumvelk Siblings, Reveals Fourth Promo

The countryside sword saint is heading into high society. Officials for From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Season 2 dropped a fourth promotional video on Friday and named two more voices for Shigeru Sagazaki's ongoing summer sequel.
Kensho Ono (Hell's Paradise) steps in as Warren Flumvelk, while Sumire Uesaka takes Shueste Flumvelk. The new cut reel leans on footage from episode 7 onward, following Beryl Gardenant and Allucia Citrus into a noble soiree that goes sideways before the story swings into a fresh fight.
Akio Kazumi is still steering the series at Passione and Hayabusa Film, with Kunihiko Okada on scripts, Satsuki Hayasaka as character designer and chief animation director, and Yasuharu Takanashi on the score. Season 2 launched July 8 on TV Asahi at 11:45 p.m., then AT-X and BS Asahi, and Prime Video is carrying it worldwide. The first cour ran 12 episodes in spring 2025.
Sagazaki's novel started on Shousetsuka ni Narou in late 2020 before Square Enix picked it up as an SQEX Novel, illustrated by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima; volume 11 shipped August 6. Kazuki Satou's Young Champion manga reached volume 9 in June. J-Novel Club just issued the tenth English light-novel volume, and Yen Press has the sixth manga volume due September 22.
