Dan-Katsu Locks January 2027 Debut With Teaser, Lead Cast & Core Staff

The light novel hit that turns job hunting into a dungeon crawl just leveled up. On Monday, the official site for Reincarnation in the Game World Dan-Katsu went live with a teaser visual, a super teaser promo, and a firm January 2027 television start—locking in the next wave of game-world fantasy for winter.

Leading the charge is voice actor Yuto Uemura as Zephyrus, a hardcore player who sunk more than 8,000 hours into the god-tier RPG Dungeon Job Hunting Recommendation (aka Dan-Katsu) before waking up inside it. Series director Nagisa Miyazaki helms the adaptation at STUDIO MASSKET, with Yuji Kobayashi on series composition and scripts—the same core team now public on the new hub and official X feed.

Source material comes from Kaede Nishikigi’s long-running TO Books novels (illustrated by Shuri), which have moved roughly 400,000 copies and spawn a manga by Hiroshi Asagi. In-world, Dan-Katsu boasts over a thousand jobs and hundreds of endings, so the anime’s pitch is pure power-gamer wish fulfillment: reincarnate, pick a job, build a party, and clear dungeons for real.

With the site, cast comment, and first promo already out, winter 2027 just gained another high-engagement isekai on the calendar. Keep an eye on further staff and cast drops as the production committee gears up for broadcast.
