Chiikawa Jet Takes Off: ANA Rolls Out Uniform Merch & Special 767

All Nippon Airways has cleared Chiikawa for takeoff. On August 3, the carrier unveiled a full-scale tie-up with Nagano’s smash-hit manga and anime, headlined by a specially painted Boeing 767-300 (JA609A) that will enter domestic service from late October 2026.

The Chiikawa Jet wraps eight characters—including Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi—across both fuselage sides with different art on port and starboard, plus seasonal Japan motifs and a hidden four-leaf clover for plane-spotters. Economy passengers will find matching headrest covers (cabin property only) and limited paper cups featuring the core trio on hot and cold drinks.

Exclusive collab merchandise is also confirmed: Chiikawa and friends dressed in ANA uniforms, with product lineup and sale dates still pending. Possible routes include Haneda–Sapporo, Itami, Fukuoka, Naha and more, though day-of ops may shuffle the jet across the network.

With the Mermaid Island film still packing theaters and this airline collab locking in sky-high brand heat, Chiikawa’s 2026 merch calendar just got another must-watch slot—keep an eye on ANA’s dedicated Chiikawa Jet page for drop details.
