Cheat Fuyo Unleashes Action Teaser and Battle Staff for October

The laid-off enchanter’s second life just got louder. On Wednesday the team behind Cheat Fuyo dropped an action-focused second teaser—the first real look at how P.A. Works plans to sell Asa Rokushima’s chaotic enhancement-point fantasy as a fight show, not just a punchline. The series still locks October 2026 on TV Tokyo.
The same update filled in the rest of the production bench. Noboru Sugimitsu (Charlotte) takes monster design and action animation director, Kayoko Nabeta is main animator, and Hiromi Makino handles props. Art direction goes to Yoko Kamiyama (Fruits Basket), with Kazu Doi on color and Angel Beats! veteran Motonari Ichikawa running 3D. Alisa Okehazama, the composer behind Jujutsu Kaisen, scores the series, while Ryosuke Naya directs sound at Studio Mausu.
Shu Honma (Mayonaka Punch) remains in the director’s chair, Yoko Yonaiyama writes the series, and Yuito Kiyosawa designs the cast already led by Daiki Yamashita as Rein Garland and Lynn as Lily Flambert. Kodansha’s manga just hit volume 21, so the anime is arriving with a very thick source bible.
If the first teaser sold the vibe, this one sells the swing. Guild-exile slapstick is still the hook, but the new PV and battle staff make it clear P.A. Works is not treating Cheat Fuyo as wallpaper comedy.
