Completely unfamiliar with current social norms, Yoichi's behavior and traditional samurai attire frequently cause amusing misunderstandings. After moving in with the Ikaruga sisters at their dojo, his lack of knowledge about everyday etiquette leads to one comedic situation after another. The story follows Yoichi as he tries to adapt to his strange new environment, struggling to fit into the modern world while building relationships with his new family.

In "Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar," Kenshi Masaki is abducted and transported to the planet Geminar by a secret organization. To secure a way back home, he agrees to help them with their plan to assassinate the newly crowned Empress of the Shtrayu Empire, Lashara Aasu XXVIII, using a giant robot known as a Sacred Mechanoid. Though the assassination attempt is thwarted, Lashara notices Kenshi's extraordinary skills and orders that her attacker be taken alive. When she learns the pilot is male—a rarity on Geminar—she decides to spare him and instead makes him her personal attendant. Now serving as Lashara's aide, Kenshi accompanies her to the Holy Land, an academy that trains Sacred Mechanoid pilots. While he draws much attention, Kenshi remains unaware of a sinister plot unfolding within the school, one that could trigger a worldwide war.

As the vice president of Hekiyou Academy's student council, Ken Sugisaki dreams of nothing more than lounging around with a harem of cute girls, snacking on treats, and playing games. Making things worse, Mariya becomes her roommate, allowing him to keep a close watch on her. The series follows Kanako's search for love amid these unexpected difficulties, especially the awkward situation of sharing a room with the mysterious and secretive Mariya.

Following the conclusion of World War III in 2150, Japan remains in a state of unrest. Across the country, strange zones called "Blackspots" have emerged, contaminated by the hazardous remains of destroyed cities and countryside. People trapped within these areas have undergone changes, gaining various supernatural abilities such as shape-shifting, fire control, or gravity manipulation, leading to them being called "Needless." Adam Blade, who has incredible healing powers and superhuman strength, is one of these Needless. In order to bring peace back to the broken nation, Adam and his allies must unite to fight against the sinister research organization, Simeon.

In the world of Akikan!, Kakeru Daichi discovers an unusual way to meet people by collecting various juice cans. But he never expects that trying to drink from one would lead him to meeting a mysterious girl. He names her Melon after the melon soda flavor of the can, and soon learns that she is an Akikan—a beautiful girl who is actually a specially made can created for fighting other Akikans in a strange experiment comparing steel and aluminum containers. Kakeru's life gets more complicated as he becomes involved in this bizarre research project that has gotten out of control. Because Melon is made of steel and needs carbon dioxide to survive, Kakeru finds himself dependent on her due to her strong need for CO2. Things get worse when Najimi, his wealthy and attractive childhood friend, gets her own aluminum Akikan, marking the beginning of real problems.

In "Hayate the Combat Butler!!," Hayate Ayasaki continues to face unrelenting misfortune. Now living at the Sanzenin mansion and attending Hakuou Academy, he works tirelessly as a butler for his young charge Nagi while struggling to keep up with school's demanding coursework and a never-ending stream of crises. Despite his best intentions, Hayate remains a constant target of female attention, making his life far from peaceful. He must manage Nagi's subtle feelings along with those of the girls he has unintentionally charmed. These include Ayumu Nishizawa, a former friend now living as an ordinary high school girl, and Hinagiku Katsura, the diligent president of Hakuou's student council. While Ayumu aims to win his heart, Hinagiku struggles with her own emotions, both adding further complications to Hayate's already chaotic life.

Ayumi Arihara believes that love is essential for happiness and dreams of having a boy confess to her. Her wish unexpectedly comes true when Misao Zaitsu, a towering and intimidating figure, expresses his feelings through a letter. Overwhelmed, Ayumi faints during class, but is rescued and carried to the nurse's office by a classmate. To her surprise, this kind boy turns out to be Mamoru, Misao's younger brother, whom Ayumi finds herself attracted to. In Beyblade: Metal Fusion, a new group of characters enters a struggle between good and evil. At the heart of this conflict is Ginga, along with his trusted friends, who oppose the threatening Dark Nebula organization. The Dark Nebula seeks to rule the world and spread their wickedness, with their main challenge being Ginga, the one strong enough to stop their schemes. As their journey unfolds, loyalties are challenged, with allies becoming enemies and the reverse. The story centers on Ginga as he works to find the strength required to protect his world and maintain the honor of Beyblade.

This parody spin-off shrinks the main characters from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya into chibi forms. Notable changes include Yuki becoming an avid eroge fan, Haruhi growing even louder and more boisterous, Mikuru experiencing more frequent emotional breakdowns, and Koizumi developing a deep fondness for Kyon. Kyon, however, stays much the same as before.

Many millennia in the past, a meteor hurtling from space threatened to annihilate the world, but Arceus intervened and halted it. During that act of protection, Arceus sustained severe injuries, and Damos (ダモス) nursed it back to health. In gratitude, Arceus vowed to make the barren land of Michīna fertile and prosperous, and thus presented Damos with the Jewel of Life (命の宝玉). Arceus allowed Damos to borrow 16 portions of its own body in order to create the Jewel of Life, with the condition that they be returned on a designated day. But the parts were never given back, and Arceus, feeling betrayed, swore that it would judge humanity when it awakened. Many millennia later, Satoshi, Hikari, and Takeshi arrive at the riverside town of Michīna (ミチーナ), a place enveloped in natural splendor. They head for the ruins of Michīna, which stand atop a huge rock, with a wide, beautiful lake spread out at its base. Satoshi and his friends are entranced by the lake, yet suddenly waves rise upon its surface and a watery tornado starts wreaking havoc. A girl named Sheena, a descendant of Damos, rushes out from the Michīna ruins. Perceiving the danger, she summons Dialga and cries out, "Dialga, please!" and Dialga manages to quell the tornado. At last, Satoshi and his friends are able to enter the ruins, where Kevin and Sheena relate the ancient legend of Michīna. Just after they finish recounting it, the battle among Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina grows violent, and the Michīna ruins are shattered. Then Arceus awakens...

In "Whispered Words," Murasame Sumika is a standout at her high school due to her outstanding academic and athletic skills. She conceals her feelings for her classmate, Kazama Ushio, who is fascinated by girl-girl relationships but remains unaware of Sumika's crush, having been rejected before by other girls with similar interests.

Following their victory over the Easter Corporation, Amu Hinamori and her fellow Guardians at Seiyo Academy continue to handle any X Eggs that come their way. With four out of the five current team members set to graduate soon, the future of the Guardians Council looks uncertain. To ensure its continuity, the team decides to recruit two "Guardian Apprentices," with the hope that these new members will one day develop their own Heart's Eggs. Among the new recruits is Rikka Hiiragi, a lively and optimistic girl who possesses the rare skill of communicating with X Eggs—a feat previously unattainable by the Guardians. While the team is intrigued by Rikka's talent, she fears that once they learn the real method behind her ability, she may not be fully embraced as a Guardian.

In the peculiar shop run by Yuuko, who grants your deepest desires for an appropriate price, Kimihiro Watanuki seeks to rid himself of his ability to see spirits. To pay for this wish, he works for Yuuko, performing tasks such as cleaning, running errands, and assisting her other clients. In xxxHOLiC Shunmuki, Watanuki and his friend and rival, Shizuka Doumeki, join their friend Kohane Tsuyuri and her grandmother for a meal, reflecting on how much they have grown since their first meeting. Later, Watanuki has a dream in which Doumeki's grandfather, Haruka, asks him to retrieve specific items from the family temple's storage room. Accompanied by Doumeki, Watanuki finds that this task resembles a treasure hunt, with each item leading them to the next, culminating in an unforeseen yet fated outcome.

Aniplex has announced that a 10-minute Gintama short anime titled "Shiroyasha Koutan" will be released on September 30th. This special was originally screened at the Jump Super Anime Tour 2008 and had not been made available on DVD before. The release serves as a trailer for a hypothetical Gintama movie. Additionally, the DVD includes the Gintama OVA that was first shown at the Jump Anime Tour '05.

In "Haruka Nogizaka's Secret Purezza," Haruka keeps her passion for manga and anime concealed with the assistance of her close friend Yuuto. Tensions emerge when another girl who is friends with Yuuto begins to develop romantic feelings for him, creating an emotional conflict within their group. Meanwhile, Yuuto supports Haruka by encouraging her to pursue her greatest interests: drawing manga, watching anime, and attending special anime events.

A full year has passed since the events of "Okawari," and the three sisters have matured. Their personalities and quirks remain largely unchanged: Haruka, the eldest, acts as a loving, motherly figure while also strictly following the rules; Kana, the middle sister, procrastinates until the very last moment and constantly creates chaos for the trio; and Chiaki, the youngest, is clever and manipulative, craving Haruka's admiration and affection while always causing trouble for the less fortunate Kana. Despite this imbalance, they genuinely love each other deeply. Their daily life is just as hilarious as ever, filled with both conflict and warmth. Now, with Haruka becoming a young adult facing greater responsibilities and the challenge of balancing adult life while looking after her younger siblings, it remains to be seen whether they can survive this new stage of change.

Enchanted by Arashi, Hajime agrees without hesitation. As they explore her past, they learn that Arashi is not the only one who can travel through time.

After the Ryunka incident, Tokyo falls into social chaos. The alien organization responsible for the disaster has escaped the Space Federation and is now hiding on Earth. Birdy Cephon Altera, a Space Federation officer, and Tsutomu Senkawa, a high school student, still share a single body. Their mission is to hunt down and capture these fugitives. However, their task becomes complicated when a mysterious assassin, driven by a personal grudge, begins targeting the escapees. Birdy must navigate the city's turmoil while also uncovering the assassin's identity to prevent more alien casualties.

Saku Ooyagi comes back to his hometown after seven years and quickly meets up with his old friend, Mihoshi Akeno. Their reunion is far from pleasant, as the last time they were together involved her falling out of a tree and him catching her. Despite that, Mihoshi is set on mending their bond and insists that Saku becomes a member of the astronomy club she started.

In "Kanamemo," middle school student Kana Nakamachi faces a major upheaval after her grandmother's passing leaves her without a home. With no one willing to take her in due to her age, Kana discovers the Fuhshin Gazette, a local newspaper delivery service that offers her accommodation in exchange for work. The cozy shop is managed by a unique bunch: the sweet-tooth Yume Kitaoka and her partner Yuuki Minami; the thrifty Hinata Azuma; the drinker Haruka Nishida; and the wise beyond her years Saki Amano. To get Nagi more involved in summer activities and especially swimming, Maria arranges a get-together with their group at the Sanzenin family's exclusive beach. They meet an unforeseen figure: a young woman who declares herself to be Gentoku Ryuubi. Falsely blamed for numerous offenses, Ryuubi is set on recovering her family's precious blade, the Chuuzan Seiou, and vindicating her name. To protect Ryuubi, the group bands together and trails the sword as it passes through different hands, yet they perpetually remain one step behind its current holder. During their travels, Kan'u and her companions run into many familiar faces who offer their aid without hesitation. Concurrently, Kan'u and Chouhi come to realize that the bonds of family reach beyond just blood ties.

This is an anime adaptation of the four-panel comic strip manga Nyoron Churuya-san. It is based on the Suzumiya Haruhi character Tsuruya, known for her energetic and ever-ready personality. Churuya is a girl who has an intense love for smoked cheese. Kyon and the others are aware of this and exploit her weakness. They get her to perform various tasks by dangling smoked cheese as a potential reward. Churuya, however, remains unaware of this scheme, so she keeps putting in effort for the sake of cheese. Each day becomes a struggle to obtain her beloved smoked cheese, but it proves far more difficult than she ever anticipated.

Viral tries to get some sleep, but keeps on having terrifying nightmares. Can't anyone save him from his plight?

With Valentine's Day drawing near, Hosaka attempts to convey his emotions for Haruka by cooking. At the same time, Mako-chan worries about being discovered while in her boy's disguise, Kana-"sensei" instructs the girls on tactics to "succeed" on Valentine's Day, and Fujioka goes out of his way to get chocolate from Kana.

A schoolgirl named Fumiko confesses her love, only to be rejected because the boy wants to focus on baseball training. As she cries and runs downhill through the town, her speed steadily increases. This independent animation received the Award of Excellence given to students at the Tokyo International Anime Award in 2010.

In the Nodame Cantabile OVA, Yukihisa Matsuda, principal conductor of the Rising Star Orchestra, travels to Paris to lead the Recyl Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Wagner's Tannhäuser Overture. Upon hearing the Recyl musicians praise Shinichi Chiaki, the young Japanese conductor of the Roux-Marlet Orchestra, Matsuda cannot conceal his irritation at encountering another "Black-Haired Noble" in the city. After a concert where his affair concludes, Matsuda encounters Chiaki and proposes they share a drink, ostensibly to discuss their careers. However, Chiaki grows frustrated when the conversation shifts to his personal relationships.

In the year 311 of the Orbital Calendar, humanity has relocated to numerous colony clusters scattered across space. A girl living in a space colony, Akiha Shishidou, comes across a malicious artificial intelligence called Leopard that has been embedded within a colony. Akiha teams up with an Inter-Colony Police officer named Itsuki Kannagi, a quiet young girl named Honoka Kawai, and a robot named Imoko "Imo-chan" Shishidou.

In "Modern Magic Made Simple," high schooler Koyomi Morishita struggles with a difficult reality—her small stature causes others to mistake her for an elementary school student, leading to constant teasing from her peers, and she also lacks grace, making everyday life harder. But things are far worse for Yumiko, who is being chased by a deadly magician. Koyomi's life changes dramatically when she meets Yumiko. Then Misa Anehara, a skilled mage and graduate student, steps in to teach Koyomi a unique form of magic that simplifies spells into sequences of code. Even though Koyomi seems to have no magical talent, shown by her tendency to accidentally summon washbasins out of thin air, she takes on this difficult challenge. After all, magic wouldn't be magic if it were simple, would it?

The story follows a normal high school boy, Kakeru Daichi, and the melon juice soda can he gets from a vending machine. That can suddenly morphs into a beautiful but standoffish girl, whom Kakeru dubs "Melon," and then additional "Akikan" (empty can) girls start appearing. These Akikan girls, however, must be infused with carbon dioxide in order to transform into human form.

Serving as a link between the first and second seasons of Birdy the Mighty Decode, this OVA sees Birdy using her pin-up persona to assist Tsutomu in building a romantic connection with Sayaka. The situation soon goes completely out of control when a Federation puppet appears.

In the 14th year of the Taisho period (1925), baseball remains largely unfamiliar in Japan, with only a handful of male teams in existence. When a baseball player declares that women should focus on becoming housewives rather than pursuing education, 14-year-old Akiko defies this notion by persuading her friend Koume to form a girls' baseball team. Against the era's social conventions—where even running is considered improper for women and baseball is viewed as exclusively a boys' activity—the pair encounter numerous obstacles. They struggle with recruiting teammates, securing parental permission, and grasping the sport's intricacies, quickly realizing that mastering baseball is far more difficult than they initially imagined.

The Utawarerumono OVA comprises three episodes that animate supplementary story content from the original game, created by the same staff that handled the game's opening sequence. These episodes explore narrative portions excluded from the TV series, offering a more detailed examination of story elements that were not previously addressed in the anime.

This OVA is set a decade into the future and explores what could happen if Conan Edogawa and Ai Haibara choose not to take the antidote for APTX 4869, allowing them to grow up alongside their friends Genta, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi while continuing their work as detectives.
