Synopsis

After the Patrian civil war, the outnumbered Northern forces created hybrid soldiers known as Incarnates, blending human and beast traits to counter the Southern army's superiority. These Incarnates, possessing godlike strength, turned the tide of battles. However, prolonged warfare led to unresolved conflicts within the beasts inside these warriors. Following the war, reports increased of Incarnates suffering from psychological scars of combat. Special Sergeant Major Hank Henriette, once the captain of the Incarnates, now operates as a Beast Hunter, tasked with eliminating those Incarnates who have succumbed to their inner demons. Nancy Schaal Bancroft, driven by her desire to avenge her father—a former Incarnate soldier slain by a Beast Hunter—sets out to track down the individual responsible for his death. After a fateful encounter with the Beast Hunter, Nancy shifts her focus to unraveling the truth about her father's fate and the controversial role of Incarnates in society.
