Portrait of the Red

Synopsis

Portrait of the Red presents a fresh perspective on the events of Gundam, Gundam Z, Gundam ZZ, and Char's Counterattack, all seen through the eyes of Char Aznable, and serves as a prelude to Gundam Unicorn. Originally planned as a live stage show in which Char's voice actor would read the story over the anime footage, the DVD version alternates between spoken narration and the animated scenes themselves.
