Continues the story of Mob Psycho 100
In Mob Psycho 100, Shigeo Kageyama, an eighth-grade boy known as Mob, has grappled with overwhelming psychic abilities since he was a child. To avoid the hazards these powers pose, he keeps them tightly suppressed, utilizing them solely to impress Tsubomi, a girl he admires, only for her to eventually lose interest. In search of meaning, Mob begins working for Arataka Reigen, a fraudulent psychic who capitalizes on Mob's talents for profit, turning routine exorcisms into a daily occurrence. However, the psychic energy Mob holds back threatens to explode destructively if his intense emotions or concealed power are unleashed, potentially transforming him forever. This looming danger of an eruption persists, making it appear nearly impossible to prevent.
