Synopsis

In Dr. Stone, high schooler Taiju Ooki spends five years holding back his feelings until he finally decides to confess to Yuzuriha Ogawa. Just as he is about to speak, a mysterious green light engulfs the Earth, instantly turning every human into stone. Thousands of years later, Taiju awakens to a world where nature has reclaimed everything and humanity lies petrified. He soon finds another survivor: his scientifically minded friend Senkuu, who has been conscious for months. Senkuu outlines a plan to restore civilization through the power of science. Combining Taiju's physical might with Senkuu's intellect, the duo forms a powerful team and devises a method to revive the petrified. As they advance, Senkuu's strategies encounter resistance from newly awakened individuals who doubt his approach, while the true cause of the global petrification remains a mystery.

In Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, Senkuu remains resolute in his mission to recover two million years of human advancement and revive everyone petrified. Tsukasa Shishiou opposes this vision, insisting that only the strong deserve to be brought back from stone. As winter concludes and the snow thaws, Senkuu and his comrades in Ishigami Village finalize their strategy for an attack on Tsukasa's Empire. Equipped with an upgraded cell phone, the Kingdom of Science readies its latest plan to counter Tsukasa's massive army. Yet, despite their technological superiority, time is slipping away as Tsukasa's forces grow swiftly. Reunited with old friends and bolstered by new allies, Senkuu and the Kingdom of Science strive to stop Tsukasa's troops to fulfill their dream of restoring humanity and its legacy. With both factions battling for their distinct ideals of a perfect society, the Stone Wars erupt into full-scale conflict.
