Continues the story of Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky
In the wreckage of Space Colony Side 4 "Moore," where the Earth Federation and Zeon forces clash in intense combat, the Thunderbolt Sector stands as a critical battleground. This area, filled with scattered colony debris, earns its name from the lightning storms caused by the drifting metal. Among the Federation troops stationed there is mobile suit pilot Io Flemming, while Zeon sniper Daryl Lorenz hides within the battlefield, poised to attack.

Half a year after the One Year War ends, the Earth Federation moves to take control of and eliminate the Psycho Zaku, which is in the possession of a religious group known as the South Seas Alliance. This film compiles and recaps the events of the second season.
