Sound! Euphonium

Synopsis

Kumiko Oumae arrives at Kitauji High School hoping for a fresh start, but her intentions change when new acquaintances Sapphire Kawashima and Hazuki Katou convince her to return to the school's band club and pick up the euphonium once more. The ensemble is currently ill-prepared for the upcoming Sunfest festival, much less any national competitions. Guided by their new instructor, Noboru Taki, the club members face a critical choice between maintaining a casual approach or committing to rigorous training with the goal of reaching the nationals. Burdened by memories of middle school failures, Kumiko doubts the wisdom of setting such ambitious targets. Her hesitation deepens upon discovering that Reina Kousaka, a former bandmate who once caused significant friction, has also joined Kitauji's band. Under Noboru's demanding leadership, Kumiko and her fellow musicians must navigate their personal challenges and unite to realize their musical dreams.
