Synopsis

Iori Kitahara begins his freshman year at a university in the seaside town of Izu, residing above his uncle's scuba diving shop, Grand Blue. While he initially envisions a perfect college experience, his expectations are swiftly shattered by the boisterous drinking parties hosted by the Diving Club members who congregate in the shop. Reluctantly drawn into their chaotic revelry by the senior students Shinji Tokita and Ryuujirou Kotobuki, Iori finds himself in the middle of their antics. His cousin, Chisa Kotegawa, discovers him amidst the mayhem and expresses her fierce disapproval. Adapted from the popular manga by Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka, the series chronicles Iori's hilarious misadventures with his eccentric friends as he strives to meet his academic objectives while mastering the art of scuba diving.

In this installment

It's been three months since Iori Kitahara moved into the attic above Grand Blue, his uncle's scuba diving shop, and joined his college's Diving Club. Along with his clubmates, he spends his days drinking and getting into wild antics. When Iori's sister Shiori hears about his behavior, she steps in with plans to bring him back home to help run their family inn. However, Shiori's attempts to intervene fall apart when she sees how strongly Iori is connected to Grand Blue and his friends. Despite all their constant partying and ridiculous adventures, Iori and the Diving Club still manage to improve their scuba diving skills along the way.
