Synopsis
Mizuki Hijiri transferred to a new school hoping for a quiet and ordinary student life, but her plans are thrown off course by the eccentric Hero Club. This club is made up entirely of chuunibyou boys: Yamato Noda, who sees himself as a heroic figure using his athletic abilities for righteous causes; Kazuhiro Nakamura, who believes he is the reincarnation of Touga Ryushouin, a being born from a demon and an angel; Tomoki Takashima, a handsome otaku obsessed with his 2D anime crush Sora; and Rei Tsukumo, the mastermind who works behind the scenes to manipulate events in secret. As the newest member of the Hero Club, Hijiri struggles to keep her desire for a normal life. Yet, she comes to realize that beneath their over-the-top acts, their bond is genuine. Hijiri’s life is destined to become more exciting as she gets swept up in their grand fantasies.

Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy is based on a light novel series, which in turn is based on a popular Vocaloid song of the same name.
