In the series "Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy," Mizuki Hijiri transfers to a new high school, where she encounters a group of boys suffering from chuunibyou—a condition characterized by exaggerated delusions of grandeur. The group consists of Noda, who dreams of becoming a hero; Takashima, a tragically handsome otaku with a preference for 2D characters; Nakamura, who believes he is a reincarnated angel or demon; and Tsukumo, who considers himself a master manipulator.
