Synopsis

Following his grandfather's death, Kazuya Souma, a nineteen-year-old aspiring civil servant, is transported to another world as a supposed "hero" to assist the struggling Elfrieden Kingdom. Called upon as a political move during an impending conflict with demonic forces, Kazuya refuses to be a sacrificial pawn and instead chooses to revive the kingdom's failing economy through administrative reforms. After being crowned king and engaged to the princess, this "Realist Hero" assembles a team of talented advisors to help him in his goal of restoring the nation's wealth.

In "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Part 2," the "Realist Hero" Kazuya Souma presses on with rebuilding the Elfrieden Kingdom through sweeping administrative reforms, backed by his capable team. After capturing Van, the capital of Amidonia, Kazuya is confronted by envoys from the Gran Chaos Empire, who demand penalties for violating the war prohibition set forth in the Mankind Declaration Treaty. Despite the tense situation, Kazuya comes up with a strategy to sidestep needless conflict and forge fresh alliances. Yet his plan hinges on securing the consent of the empire's representatives.
