Elfrieden, Elisha

Summary

As the sole survivor of the Elfrieden Royal Family following the death of the twelfth king, Elisha emerged as the legitimate heir after the Succession Crisis. She eventually married Albert, bestowing upon him the Elfrieden family name and elevating him to the position of the thirteenth king. In her youth, Elisha displayed a tomboyish nature, frequently taking risks and behaving in ways that defied royal expectations. She initially believed her gender excluded her from being a true contender for the throne. However, after her magic began sending memories from the future, her demeanor shifted significantly. Driven by a strong desire to survive, she adopted a more reserved and pragmatic approach, conforming to the image of a princess despite her personal inclinations. Throughout the Succession Crisis, the influx of memories from future versions of herself often triggered depressive episodes. Her outlook only improved when she chose Albert, finding renewed hope in the value of her own life. Elisha remained reluctant to rule herself, instead pushing Albert toward the crown, and served as a steadfast supporter during his reign. Her influence also played a key role in facilitating Kazuya’s ascension. Although she remains quiet and reserved in adulthood, she is a loving and doting grandmother to Cian and Kazuha.
