Synopsis

After returning from the Crimson Demon village, Kazuma Satou, a former NEET reincarnated as an adventurer, is accompanied by his usual party: the vain goddess Aqua, the explosion specialist Megumin, and the masochistic knight Lalatina Ford "Darkness" Dustiness. Although the group draws nearer to the Demon King, Kazuma hopes to delay that overwhelming mission. Instead, they continue to encounter issues such as mounting debts, failed jobs, and chaos caused by their own reckless actions. Amidst this turmoil, a princess invites them to recount stories of their supposed heroic deeds. While Darkness attempts to decline, the rest of the team decides to attend, dragging them into another bizarre adventure with unexpected results.
In this installment
Kazuma Satou is a Japanese teenager who's completely obsessed with video games and spends his days as a shut-in. After dying from acute stress reaction, he's transported to a parallel world and ends up dragging Aqua along with him, since her smug attitude thoroughly got under his skin. When he becomes an adventurer, Kazuma picks the Adventurer class—the lowest-ranked option there is, but one that lets him learn skills from any other class, though at a steeper price. With this ability, Kazuma picks up fundamental techniques like stealing, archery, monster detection, and basic magic.
