In "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! - Legend of Crimson," the Crimson Demons, the clan of Megumin and Yunyun, strike fear into the Demon Lord's army for a very specific reason. Their command of high-level, overwhelmingly powerful magic makes them nearly invulnerable to any assaults launched by the Demon Lord's generals. When a letter arrives suggesting a looming crisis in her hometown, Yunyun immediately alerts Kazuma Satou and the rest of the group. A series of comedic misunderstandings soon reveals the message was actually a trick orchestrated by an aspiring author among the demons. Nevertheless, Megumin grows uneasy regarding her family and decides to return to the Crimson Demons' village along with the others. As they explore the sights of Megumin's home, the party begins to suspect that the seemingly minor warning they received might have held some truth after all.

In this installment

After returning from the Crimson Demon village, Kazuma Satou, a former NEET reincarnated as an adventurer, is accompanied by his usual party: the vain goddess Aqua, the explosion specialist Megumin, and the masochistic knight Lalatina Ford "Darkness" Dustiness. Although the group draws nearer to the Demon King, Kazuma hopes to delay that overwhelming mission. Instead, they continue to encounter issues such as mounting debts, failed jobs, and chaos caused by their own reckless actions. Amidst this turmoil, a princess invites them to recount stories of their supposed heroic deeds. While Darkness attempts to decline, the rest of the team decides to attend, dragging them into another bizarre adventure with unexpected results.
