Synopsis

In a distant future where advanced science and technology are heavily concentrated in urban centers, the remote mountain village of Kagami Village lies on the outskirts left behind by this rapid development. "Behave yourself, or a Double will come for you." This old piece of folklore still lingers among the villagers. Akane Higure, a middle school student living in Kagami Village, has been looking forward to the return of her older sister, Sui Higure, who is finally being discharged from the hospital after a year away. But soon after her sister comes home, Akane receives a single phone call. "The girl at home with you… isn't your sister."
