Summary
Akane Higure is the younger sister of Higure Sui and the second daughter of the Higurashi family. A middle school student residing in Kagami Village, she shares an extremely close bond with her older sibling. Despite her deep affection for Sui, Akane struggles with feelings of inferiority and jealousy, as she perceives her sister as someone capable of accomplishing anything. While she often presents a standoffish demeanor to the outside world, she retains a distinctly childlike side. This inner innocence is evident in how she boosts her self-esteem by engaging in conversations with her pet medaka fish.
