Synopsis
Nobuaki Kanazawa has trouble blending in at his new school and shows little desire to make friends. His distant behavior is later explained by a grim past: every student receives a mysterious text from someone calling themselves "The King." The message introduces the lethal "King's Game," where refusing, quitting, or failing to complete tasks within 24 hours leads to death. Having endured this ordeal before and witnessed others die, Nobuaki tries to warn his clueless classmates. They ignore him until the first deaths occur. Trapped in a horrifying situation with no way out, Nobuaki faces the dilemma of saving himself or attempting to rescue his classmates—a mission he failed to accomplish once before.
