Ousama Game

Nobuaki Kanazawa is jolted awake from a nightmare by a cryptic text from a being called the King, who summons him to participate in the King's Game. The decree mandates that his entire class must take part, obey each directive within twenty-four hours, and that no one is permitted to withdraw. Initially, Nobuaki and his classmates dismiss it as a hoax, but they soon confront the game's deadly truth when those who break the rules suffer gruesome demises. As the King's demands grow increasingly grotesque and the body count rises, the class spirals into chaos and desperation, frantically searching for a way to survive the ordeal.

Background

Ousama Game is an adaptation of the first novel from the novel series of the same title. The series was published digitally in English as King's Game by Futabasha Publishers from June 11, 2019, to September 24, 2019. It was also released in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC from December 2013 to April 2014; and in Polish by Japonica Polonica Fantastica from February 27, 2016, to March 30, 2017.
