Synopsis
Continues the story of Pop Team Epic
Pop Team Epic elevates absurd comedy to extreme levels through its relentless cultural references and surreal humor. The series centers on two high school girls: Popuko, who is short and fiercely hot-tempered, and Pipimi, her tall and disturbingly calm counterpart. They unhesitatingly blend genres, mixing parody, drama, action, and crude comedy together. Their ultimate goal is to become a real anime.

The Pop Team Epic TV Special comprises Episodes 13 and 14 of Poputepipikku. This special aired in four distinct versions on different channels: Tokyo MX broadcast the Blue Dragon edition, Nico Nico Douga presented the Vermilion Bird version, Abema TV Anilive showed the White Tiger edition, and the Black Tortoise version was featured on Abema TV Pop Team Epic Channel. Each version features its own exclusive set of seiyuus.
