Synopsis
In the late 1980s, nearing the end of the Showa era, an old mansion in Misaki town is whispered to be the dwelling of a witch. After relocating there, Aoko Aozaki starts studying sorcery under Alice Kuonji, a young mage and the supposed witch of the mansion. The Aozaki family governs the land where Misaki stands, and as the heir, Aoko is responsible for safeguarding it. Mysterious trespassers have been disturbing the bounded field in Misaki, prompting Alice and Aoko to look into the matter. They are attacked by a mannequin or puppet, which is burned to ashes. During the encounter, both spot someone fleeing—a civilian who must not escape after witnessing magic in action. Unexpectedly, a young boy named Soujuurou Shizuki is drawn to the mansion and ends up living there with them as well.
