Synopsis

In response to rising crime rates, Japan has established Tokyo Butei High, an elite academy that trains armed detectives known as Butei to serve as professional law enforcers. Kinji Tooyama, a reserved second-year student known for his blunt demeanor, previously served in the forceful Assault Division before leaving it behind. He now leads a quiet life focused on logistics to conceal his potent yet awkward special ability. His peaceful existence is shattered when the notorious Butei Killer targets him. In the ensuing turmoil, Kinji meets Aria Holmes Kanzaki, a charismatic and high-ranking Butei prodigy who rescues him and insists they become partners, recognizing his hidden talents.
