Summary
Jeanne d'Arc 30th, also recognized by the titles Durandal and Diamond Dust Witch, is an ice ability user affiliated with the criminal organization EU. During the events of Volume 2 of the light novel, she targeted Shirayuki with the intent to kidnap her and force her into joining EU. However, she was successfully captured through the combined efforts of Aria, Kinji, and Shirayuki during the Adseard season. As a condition of her plea bargain, Jeanne was required to remain at Butei High as a second-year international student from Paris, enrolled in the Informa department. Serving as a reliable Informa student, she provides Kinji with essential knowledge whenever he requires assistance regarding a case he is involved in. Jeanne shares a strong rapport with Riko. She is among the few individuals aware of Kinji's secret. Her personality is generally serious and cool, a trait evident in her initial reaction to Butei High's uniform, where she remarked that unmarried girls should not openly reveal their legs in such a manner. However, this conservative view was significantly altered by Riko's strong influence, leading Jeanne to develop a habit of secretly collecting maid dresses, Lolita fashion, and other cute outfits. Although Jeanne possesses extraordinary fighting skills, beauty, and abilities, her drawing skills are unimpressive. Despite her considerable power, she claims to be the weakest member of EU.
