Synopsis

On June 12, 1942, Anne Frank turns thirteen in Amsterdam and starts a diary she names "Kitty." During the next two years spent in hiding from the German occupation, she records her hopeful perspective on life, her dreams, her worries, and her developing feelings for Peter.
