Jirou Sakagami was a Japanese comedian, actor, and singer who was born in Kagoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture. Throughout his career, he was affiliated with Asai Kikaku and was widely recognized by the nickname "Jirou-san." Sakagami passed away on March 10, 2011, at 9:40 a.m. due to a cerebral infarction while at a hospital in Nasushiobara, Tochigi Prefecture. He was 76 years old at the time of his death.
