Synopsis

Continues the story of Aria the OVA: Arietta

Akari Mizunashi dreams about what her life will be like once she finally achieves her goal of becoming a Prima Undine, but when she wakes up, she realizes she might not truly have the confidence to manage Aria Company by herself. Anxious about what lies ahead, she turns to her mentor Alicia Florence—one of the three great "Water Fairies" of Neo-Venezia—for advice. To Akari's surprise, Alicia opens up about her own past struggles, but also explains the steps she took to overcome her self-doubt about running the company and taking on an apprentice. Finding comfort in her teacher's words, Akari gets ready to face whatever challenges she must overcome on her journey toward making her dreams come true.

In this installment

During the 24th century on the planet Aqua, Akari Mizunashi, Alice Carroll, and Aika S. Granzchestra train to become Prima Undines—professional gondolier tour guides. Under the guidance of the celebrated "Water Fairies"—Alicia Florence, Athena Glory, and Akira E. Ferrari—the trio devotes themselves to intense training and overcoming various hurdles. Through life's highs and lows, these three apprentices work diligently to refine their abilities and navigate the difficulties of becoming successful gondoliers in Neo-Venezia, a carefully recreated version of Venice.
