Synopsis
Eight years prior, Western civilization arrived in Japan during the 19th century. Mechanical dolls and innovative steam-powered contraptions started to proliferate across the land. The Wind Gang, a faction composed of doll handlers and steam engineers, aims to forcibly usher in a new Industrial Age through their creations. One day, they raid and demolish the tranquil village belonging to a young doll user named Hiwou. Hiwou and his companions manage to flee, taking with them a colossal doll named Homura. Now, Hiwou seeks his father, hoping to gain his aid in vanquishing the Wind Gang and restoring tranquility to Japan.
