Synopsis
In a prosperous town where refuse is carelessly tossed aside, slum dwellers like Rudo regard these discarded items as precious resources. Despite repeated cautions from his foster father Regto, Rudo continues scavenging for recyclable goods within the massive garbage dump known as the "Pit." Due to its immense scale, the "Pit" also functions as a penal colony for criminals, from whom no one ever returns. Following Regto's murder by an unknown attacker, Rudo is wrongly accused of the crime and thrown into the "Pit." Awakening amidst towering mounds of trash, he faces colossal monsters spawned from the garbage. Battling toxic fumes and trash beasts, Rudo nearly perishes before being saved by Enjin, a member of the organization known as the Cleaners, who wield weapons called Vital Instruments to fight these creatures. After acquiring his own Vital Instrument, Rudo resolves to join the Cleaners, seeking an escape from the "Pit" and a path to avenge his father.
