Continues the story of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun

Urban legends across many Japanese schools tell of the Seven Mysteries, with Hanako-san, the ghost of a young girl haunting school bathrooms, being one of the most famous. Kamome Academy features its own variation of this tale, claiming that successfully summoning Hanako-san grants a wish. Although many have tried in vain, Nene Yashiro, a student longing for love, finally succeeds. However, the spirit she encounters is a boy rather than the girl she expected. Driven by her romantic wishes, Yashiro is inadvertently drawn into the supernatural realm and becomes Hanako-kun's assistant. She quickly discovers his hidden responsibility: maintaining the delicate balance between the human world and the spirit world.

At Kamome Academy, a rumor circulates about a clock that can manipulate time, watched over by three guardians who represent the past, the present, and the future. When students begin to age rapidly and the school itself starts to fall apart, Nene Yashiro and Kou Minamoto seek out Hanako-kun for assistance. As they probe the source of these bizarre occurrences, they discover hidden layers of secrets that point to something far deeper than simple fault. With fresh promises made and long-hidden truths brought to light, the students and spirits of the academy become tangled in an inescapable weave of fate, struggling to break free from its hold.
