Synopsis
Ryouhei Arisu, a disillusioned high school student, longs to escape his monotonous routine. One night, while hanging out with his friends Daikichi Karube and Chouta Segawa, they witness a spectacular fireworks show that irrevocably alters their lives. Blinded by the dazzling light, they are abruptly transported to the Borderland, a realm where residents are forced to take part in lethal games. To survive, they must complete specific tasks within these contests. As Ryouhei and his companions tackle these dangerous trials in hopes of returning to their own world, he uncovers a new sense of purpose and exhilaration.
